What is Undivided?
Undivided is an iPhone app for adults 18 and older. It puts a calm pause screen in front of one app you choose. When you open that app, you can choose something better, or take a 15-second pause and then continue for 15 minutes. It also offers a voluntary “Pause now” exercise, Lock in a Break, an optional accountability partner and optional daily faith reflections.
When can I get it?
Undivided is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. Use the Notify me button on our homepage and we’ll send you one email when it launches.
Is Undivided free?
Yes, Undivided is currently free. If we ever add paid features, you’ll see the price and terms before you buy, and purchases will go through the App Store.
Can Undivided see which apps I use?
No. You choose the app on Apple’s own private picker. Apple gives Undivided only a coded token, so Undivided can’t see which app you picked, your screen time totals or what you do in any app.
How do I protect an app?
- In Undivided, tap More → Protect one app.
- Tap Request Screen Time access and allow it.
- Tap Open Apple app picker and choose exactly one app.
- Tap Activate protection.
What happens when I tap “Continue anyway”?
Open Undivided and you’ll see Think First, a 15-second pause. After it, you can continue, and the app you chose opens for 15 minutes. Then the pause screen is scheduled to return. iOS controls the exact timing, so it can sometimes be a little late. Opening Undivided checks and restores it.
Can I end a Lock in a Break early?
No, not from inside Undivided. That’s on purpose, and you choose when to start one. Calls, emergency features and your other apps keep working. If you truly need to, you can still turn off Undivided’s Screen Time access in your iPhone’s Settings.
How do I turn off the pause screen?
Open your iPhone’s Settings app, tap Screen Time, and find the list of apps with Screen Time access. Turn off Undivided. You may need your Screen Time passcode. Deleting the Undivided app also removes the pause screen.
Does Undivided send texts for me?
Never. When you text your accountability partner, Undivided opens Apple’s Messages app with a draft. You can edit it, and nothing is sent unless you tap Send. We never see your messages. Only add people you know, and stop if they ask you to.
How do I delete my data?
- Activity history: More → Settings → Delete local history, then tap Confirm.
- Partner details: More → Accountability Circle → Edit partner and sharing, then delete the name and number.
- Everything: delete the Undivided app. What it saved on your iPhone is deleted with it, except copies in your own iCloud or computer backups.
- Emails you sent us: ask us at support@futureaddictions.com and we’ll delete them.

Do I have to be a Christian to use Undivided?
No. Undivided is built by Christians and open to everyone. Choose Woven In, Light Touch or Core Only, and change it anytime in More → Settings → Faith experience. Reflections are our own original writing and refer to Bible passages by reference.
Is Undivided therapy or addiction treatment?
No. Undivided is a habit tool, not medical care, therapy or treatment. If phone use feels hard to manage on your own, consider talking with someone you trust or a qualified professional. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988 (U.S.).
